AppExert is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our growing team in India. Selected employee will be expected to work full remote, and responsible for the implementation of Server-side programming, and backend services. You will also be in charge of integrating the Frontend elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a fair understanding of Frontend technologies are necessary as well.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality PHP code for web applications and back-end systems.

Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.

Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.

Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.

Debug Existing product bugs.

Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.

Requirements

5+ years of strong experience in PHP (OOP-based development).

Strong knowledge of Core PHP, MySQL, and other web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).

Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

Understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.

Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience with unit testing & debugging tools.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
