About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in India. As a Senior DevOps, you will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing the operations and deployment processes of our cloud infrastructure, leveraging the best practices and tools available on the Azure platform. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure continuous, secure and efficient delivery of our SaaS solution.

Overview of the project: Octave, a leader in the publishing of SaaS solutions for omnichannel retail business management, is based in Angers (France). We are engaged in an ambitious overhaul of our solution, embracing a modern architecture: Headless/API first, based on Microservices, Cloud Native on Kubernetes, with an intelligent strategy around PaaS services based on open source software. To support this transformation, we are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior DevOps to enrich our team.

Responsibilities:

• ·Implement and maintain an effective software lifecycle management strategy with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure automation as code, ensuring efficient management of cloud resources.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, adopting GitOps best practices with the Argo suite (CDs, Workflows, Events) for optimal
• automation and synchronization.
• Facilitate cloud adoption with Azure Landing Zone, following the Cloud Adoption Framework for a secure and scalable cloud architecture.
• Use Ansible for server configuration automation and maintenance management.
• Ensure database management (deployment, backup, migrations) in alignment with performance and security requirements.
• Senior DevOps at Octave 2 Integrate event streaming solutions on Azure (Event Hub, Event Grid, Service Bus) to support large-scale event architectures.

Required Qualifications:

• Have 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• In-depth experience with the Azure platform and its DevOps-related services.
• Proficiency in software lifecycle management with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Significant experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and experience with GitOps, ideally with the Argo suite.
• Optional but highly valued knowledge of Azure Landing Zone, Ansible, and database management practices.
• Experience with Azure's event streaming solutions is a plus.
